In these times of uncertainty, we draw hope and strength from God's Holy Word and the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit. Paul warned the church that in the last days people would turn from the faith and abandon sound doctrine, (1 Timothy 4:1).
But we also know that Jesus commands His Church to have Faith in God; (Mark 11:22).
The LORD told Joshua, " Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do." (Joshua 1:8)
We have The Word of God and The Spirit of God. And these are the standards by which we can stand and experience Victory in our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ, The Truth, The Life, The Way; and "Our Standard".
Jesus tells us, " The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. " (John 10:10)
New Destiny Monroe is "Raising the Standard" so that we know what the Word of God teaches us; and through His Spirit empower us to act on His Word.
We are seeking a deeper walk with God and a greater outpouring of His presence.
We are making a greater commitment to Listen, Read, Hear, Search, Learn, Share, Teach, & Grow; so we know how to live a victorious Christian life in these last days.
There is a lost, hurting, and dying world who need to hear the 'Good News' of the Gospel. God is long-suffering so that others may come to the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
Therefore, we invite you to join us as we study God's Word and obey it. Recognizing that the Father does the work through faithful and obedient believers, we are working with greater purpose and passion to reach others while there is still time to work.
"When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him." (Isaiah 59:19b)
